Anybody got an Android phone?

Reading reviews of the Samsung, HTC and Sony Ericsson at the moment. Who's got one?

Posting this from my Samsung galaxy s (vibrant) that I picked up last Monday. Running android 2.1. Slick phone tor sure, I'm definitely digging it. It has a few quirks but I'm really happy overall and very impressed by this phone.

Battery life sucks ass compared to what I'm used to after 4 years of using blackberrys - but doing things like not using live wall papers and turning off things like GPS and Wi-Fi when not in use helps conserve battery consumption.

Can recommend for sure, android is pretty cool - and remember, this is an apple whore writing this.

Battery life on most the Android phones isn't too bad. It's not too good either though but tolerable. Gotta keep the GPS off when it's not necessary and it helps to dim the screen.

I've never had any issues with my phone dying but I keep a usb cord for my phone at work so I can keep it charging on my laptop when I'm streaming web radio or listening to baseball or watching TV on it.

Love the Android OS. It's awesome and the phones keep getting better and better. On an HTC Hero right now and will be getting the Evo in a few months.

I have a droid with a bootlegged 2.2. I farkin love android, its the pimpsauce for sure. My only complaint is that I wish I had one of these new 1ghz phones, but whatevs its still an amazing phone. I def prefer it over iphone interface, although it doesnt seem as smooth and there arent near as many apps for it.

Cool that there will be Android tablets!
Apple makes top notch stuff, but i can't afford it and I dislike their sucky business ethics as much as Microsoft.
Would dearly love an alternative to both.
Android it is.

Their tablet is smaller than the iPad and might double as a phone... damn I might wait for that. I always always have a small backback with me and something that could replace a phone and a laptop... tasty.

The iPad is a useless size, not portable at all unless you have a handbag ( most apple users would have one of these ).the Android one will fit in a pocket.
