Ok i see how you get it to stop by using the end marker.

Its an interesting discovery but doesnt cut it for me after fiddling around trying it out.

Grabbing that end marker, losing focus, re-selecting the transient, auditiong, moving the end marker, losing focus, re-select, repeat all that......

garyboozy,

thank you!

Just to clarify for those reading:

In clip view, arrange view only!

ctrl+ left/right = select transient

ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients

ctrl + space = play selection

Again, hardly intuitive, but many props Mr.boozy. Glad to have learnt something.

Its been a few days since the "discovery".

I am now fairly quickly scanning through slices, chopping up like i used to with recycle.

Its a bit too wrist intensive though. I dont like the fact you cannot "jump right in" on any slice and just hear it.

You have to select near it,let go of the mouse, move to the keyboard, press ctrl arrow, then crl-space.

You end up going to and fro way too much for such a simple task.

You need three arms! one for modifier, one for arrows and one for mouse!

modifier + mouse click to select AND audition simultaneously please!
