Akai APC40 / Novation Launchpad survey???

I for one have zero use for a touchscreen controller. The iPad/iPhone have the best touchscreens I've ever used, and I still sometimes have to hit a button 2 or 3 times or drag a slider multiple times to get where I want it to go.

The ability to change the surface into whatever you want is awesome, but lack of tactile feedback/control is something I just don't want in a controller

Also, love the padKontrol. Best pads in a controller that I've ever used.

yep, but consider the source. not everything you read here is worthwhile. some people just rant negative about everything, others only say "buy what I have."

Yeah - that may be. Someone who's doing a different style of production from what I'm doing may rightly have no place for an APC, just as I can't imagine where a Maschine would possibly sit in my production workflow.
