Rcomp is a workinghorse,L3LL is a Low latency limiter that's work's in every mix 4 me! S1 is a wounderful widening tools.

I'm very interested to try the S1 on my mixes, what do you use it primarily on?

Anyone here using Maxx Bass?

SSL, API, all the vintage emulation stuff they've done. I can't compare with the real hardware, but if I push the dB to max on an EQ with those plug-ins, it will sound actually good. If I do that with Live's original plug-in EQ8, it will sound harsh and unpleasant.


I tried ozone I didn't like :/, so I like L3.

s1 is great
...you use it to adjust the 'stereo image' /prespective...usually in the mastering phase..
MaxxBass creates a 'psycho-acoustic' representation of the bass...
so you can lower the volume of the bass in your tracks .. and push the overall volume up ..
it also offers more 'control' over your bass frequencies...

You cane use the S1 on every thing from drums,synth´s,basse´s,wounderful on pad´s perfect for widening perc buse´s

it´s a great widening tool´s man get the demo of it and try it for your self maby it fit´s your mixe´s
