No worries Tone deft, I still think your idea is cool for the non M4L option,
if you want to scratch stuff recorded live on the fly.
Thanks Mudo, that link makes me want to get MFL even more now.
The midi note triggering clip changes is really cool. Would never have thought of that 8)
It's like a guitarist having fx changes during a song, without having to touch anything ;)

These ideas are old as cycling'74 partnership announcement.

At this moment we can make some of this "magic" without maxforlive thanks to LiveApi remote scripts and LiveOsc.

Why not start working altogheter?

Mudo, do you think Ms Pinky scratches the clips warped in session view, or does it just reference the original
clip source?
e.g. my track is at 104bpm, I bring a beat (orig 95bpm) into session view (feeding Ms Pinky).
Live auto warps it to match the track.
Is Ms Pinky scratching the new beat's orig tempo at 95bpm, or is at the warped tempo of 104bpm?

I don't think I have it and use it ;)

No, It can do that you (and all of us) want due to Ableton Live audio engine and LiveApi limitations.

Ableton or Cycling'74 are helping Ms. Pinky develops in any way neither...

but it is still possible to scratch/mix warping material!

Steps:
Create a new audio channel.
Set input from as a resampler.
Record any clip inside it from the other channels and the resultating audio will be warped and now avariable to get into deck (again only the audio source but this time is warped).

It is the most similar to a audio buffer capture nowadays...

No warp markers info or similar (like bridge) but all the potential waiting for people to co-develop.

It loads the original audio, not the warped one. What it does is take the incoming clip's audio path and load it into the scratch buffer, so it doesn't take into account warping. You'd have to Cmd + J a clip to get the warped version for scratching.
