Here's my BTA issue...I grab a song and drag it into the Arrangement view. I place markers were I want them. I assign the marker locations to different keys on the keyboard. HOPING to trigger them at will. Technically I can trigger them BUT each time I select a new marker location the BTA goes red I and cannot hear anything. Do I have to save the project first so Ableton knows that's what I want or what else am I doing to get into this cycle ???
Thanks for any help

Totally normal, that's what the BTA button is for.
PM me your questions in french if you want, or maybe I could drop by your place and give you a hand now that I don't live too far away.

+1...my thoughts exactly..
I've had this with a faulty midi controller that kept sending midi even when not touched..
disable the controllers in the prefs. see if this keeps happening..

I don't know me my controller is not in the list....so I was choosing anyone....and it was working....but my bta switch was lighting up all the time.... When I put in the midi menu, none in the control surface the problem stopped. But in midi in and midi out i can put my midi device who is a m-audio usb to midi that is link with my microkorg that I use for a midi controller.... The moral of the story : never put a controller that is not listed into a one who is listed because you are gonna have problem with your BTA.
