Yo dude. Please stop commenting/hating. Don't waste your time. I'm not saying anything about your group (that no one is joining)!

I mean I can understand if your a little mad that we are a fast growing, thriving community, and your group is a cluster of old middle age men who are sitting around talking about nothing in an inactive waste of cyberspace.

Over here we are developing a massive cloud of ALS file sharing that users can benifit from. It's a huge cloud of shared music/documenation etc. I'll let you know when I purchase the space and maybe you can stop hating little guy!

A chance to share our live sets and other files in an effortless way!

Ableton's share program has not yet been released, and this is the absolute next best way.

Instructions.
Go to www.dropbox.com and download and install the Dropbox software. [Safe and lightweight online file storage software]
Send me a private message via Facebook with your email address.
I will share a folder with you named [Ableton/Sharing] and create you a personal folder within our system and email you when I have completed your registration.
You will receive an email alerting you that a folder has been shared with you and upon your acceptance you will instantly be granted access to the virtual folder containing everyones material!
Things To Consider
We have 2 gigs of space to please don't upload any projects over 100 megabytes unless absolutely necessary.
Don't share anything that you don't feel comfortable with other users having access to. IE Only drop files into your virtual folder that you feel comfortable sharing with ourcommunity... (no naked pics of your girlfriend unless she gave permission he he)
Do not modify the contents of anyones folder but yours. If you delete someones files without permission you will be banned from the service. [This is pointless anyway because Dropbox enables instantaneous file recovery in the file history log.]
FUCKING ENJOY! This is really an effortless system! All the syncing happens automatically and really just requires you dragging files into a folder on your computer that you wish to share. It's just that easy!

We now have over 100 users in the group who you can chat with. This means that someone who knows Ableton will always be on the other line if you have a question and they will respond immediately. In addition, we have 20 members in our "sharing cloud" who have shared over 1 gigabyte of live sets and files.

Since then we have grown to 141 members, 33 members sharing information on a cloud, and over 1 gig/4,000 files of shared information including live sets, instruments, native instruments presets, and much more on a virtual cloud hosted by dropbox. Theres already a channel for ableton in EFNet (#ableton) with about 10 people. It's not very active allways but people usually respond during a few hours to questions. It would be better if more people would join there.
