Well theres only a few of those progressively minded people left. Dont get me wrong. I live my US of A and feel that we are strong and optimistic... but alot of ignorance. Seeing people like her in politics get ANYWHERE is just sad.
Are there politicians in Europe like this? I never hear about it and if there are it would make me feel better about crap like this.

Are you kidding? The ultra right has made an enormous cumback throughout Europe in the past 10 years; and still going strong. Only difference is that they don't have book and TV deals.
