First of all thanks to all.

Dunno if this will be of any use to you, or if you can get hold of it. I did my dissertation on Computers and the bedroom DJ. I can see if I still have a copy in word, or you could see if you can get hold of it via Portsmouth University. I don't actually know if this is possible.

Basically I did a history of the mix album, and followed a group of producers in Portsmouth while they were making their own mix album, and how they sold it.

Nope not in the US. I'll have to have a look at my profile. I'll see if I can dig it out, but I'm going to have to work out how to get it off of floppy disk. It was done in 2000, so things will have changed alot.

Each Chapter is its own document. I had to do that at the time cos, it kept crashing word when in one piece
