i remember getting my LPD8 to blink all 8 pads, had no effect on using the LPD8 for other things, except for the occasional stuck light or that kind of thing.

padKontrol was a bugger, it never wanted to stay in time, idk what that was all about but it was probably my error.

on the APC40 I got the 8 device control bank buttons to light up, and also my stop buttons and I don't remember this having any effect on the function of those buttons...

make sure you're sending MIDI to the device, but NOT any input coming through that track or else you'll make some kind of MIDI feedback loop

The funny thing is, that was made because Ableton doesn't have the hours, minutes, seconds timer.. but I could see somebody altering that to display beat.bar but also just put it in a floating window or something like that..

moldover needs to share his, anyone know what's going on with that system?

It's funny. I've actually seen a few of these things recently. The two I've already mentioned and then another that I can't remember... I'll let you know if I do though.

And yes, I did notice it was Windows only but I couldn't remember what you were on. Or what OS you were using. :P

That chap though, thepiz.org chap, is quite the developer, I'd say. Some very interesting plugins. Many for Windows but a good selection for Mac too (I use a Mac for music). I recommend the Harsh Digital Nose [sic].
