I use XP on my desktop but I've got Win7 on my Laptop. I haven't strained Live by any means on the laptop and have done no audio recording... just MIDI, but 8.2.1 has never crashed during any edits or adventures we had while portable and while using Win7

I've been using Windows 7 64 bit on a custom PC. The only crashes that I have encountered in Live, were when I changed the audio buffer for my Motu 828 mk3 audio interface. I have to change the audio buffer in the Motu utility. Once it was changed and I don't mess with it, Live has been rock solid since 8.1.3. I'm running 8.2.1 now.

anyone that experienced a crash prone live 8 with xp but later loaded windows 7 on same machine and crashes went away.
