Set up an Audio Rack with Simple Delay, Reverb and High Pass Equalizer. Map the On Button & the Wet Control of the Delay to one Macro/Knob. Map the On switch and the Decay-Time Switch of the Reverb to the same macro/knob mentioned in preceding sentence. Map the On Switch, the Frequency Control and the Q control to the same macro/knob mentioned above.

When you turn the macro/knob to the right the sound will tend to drift into thin air/infinity.
You will hear a lot of this in Drum & Bass or Dub Music.

Hope this helps, because that is my understanding of what you want to know. This is what I do when I want my sound to drift off into infinity.

Of course you will have to make the necessary adjustments in each VST in order to get the required sound.
fe real!

Hahahahaha. That will definitely make sounds drift into infinity. I'm not sure if anyone else caught on to that...?
