Ahhh, let me dig up this old gem from many years ago.... This was going to be a feature in Live 6, but it never happened.

Oh yes, on the actual topic. Info view. Yeah....whatever. Open it, close it.
Sometimes I'll open it then close it repeatedly while I laugh and laugh at how mad I am.

the info view is invisible, just leave it alone, it's for the noobs and has no impact on the rest of the program
for noobs and people that are willing to pay >1000 bucks for an ableton certification..
sure you have to fight for your main window...
and leveler.. please post the links to your music again..otherwise one dont gets that you are joking

Humour is the sole reserve of the 'Info View' user.

I wasn't necessarily referring to you. Was just expanding your idea of the taling paper clip to help the average live user. Self-apply at your own risk.
My new album is entirely sampled from your old records. I say sampled, I just re-released your old records and said they were mine.

I wish there was an option to ONLY show user text in the help view, I'd use it a lot more for DJ notes.
that is exactly what I was going to say! having the option to edit info text is great and could be usefull but for now with all the rest of the information it's too much of a distraction.

i dont care really but any good citizen has to fight stupidity where ever possible.
just say no..
i just wonder what unbearable pain made you to pay so much just to be a certified fanboy...
people can see that without some warm handshake from ableon you got, no need to pay money for that questionable honor.
training programs for such a halfbaked product? an andvertizing plot..no question about that..
makes them look like a big important company and the campaign finances itself.. i wish ableton would be as smart in coding or sequencer design as they are in marketing.

Info view. It helps me a lot when teaching Live to spanish people, as I am not a native spanish speaker. All the right terminology at hand, estupendo.

Damn you, I spent 20 minutes looking online for that when I first replied to this thread and couldn't find it

Close it if I notice it taking up too much space, Open it when I want to know what some controls do while synth programming or tweaking effect settings.
Would be a lot more useful if they increased the level of help in some of the older devices - e.g. Grain Delay and Resonators.

And because of that I very rarely open it.
