I think it's inevitable to have this kind of service at this point, so if it's done right from the get-go then I figure it'd be an industry standard.
You got a thumbs up from Weinberg so that says a lot.
I imagine a natural part of the routine would be, in between session activity, Gobbler knows when it's time to update it's project files because of no foreground processes, and at the end of the session if there's no difference between closing out the DAW or not, Gobbler continues to download it's updates, and then a pop-up screen shows that it's all been updated with the folder of the session in view, to see the files. It may be like that already....
