Lenovo Thinkpad X201 with Ableton Live?

Stay away from the budget L and Y series. They're cheaper because they compromise on build quality. The only Thinkpads worth buying are the T, W and X series, all of which are fucking excellent. I'm typing this on an X40 which will soon be 8 years old and is still going strong and even feels fast thanks to an SSD.

Biggest bottle neck on my systems are the drives and the 32bit OS ram limit. So when I get my summer wecation money, the X61 and the desktop gets SSDs, more ram, and 64bit OS.
