Ableton Forum

This has now gone beyond the limits of my expertise. However, I did find someone who was having a similar problem and described it on the Microsoft technical forums. I am wondering whether if you described your problem there, someone else might be able to help.

Strangely, I can install other programs, so I am surprised I can't install Live.

Had the same problem while trying to install Waves MPX Master-tape. It's a permission thing.

Do you get an 'Error 1402. Could not open key' message? Try to search for the string in the error message in your registry. When you find it use these instructions:
