getting an answer from Mr Degiorgio, the ART owner and one of the best detroit techno producers ever (yeah, I know you're from the UK but that doesn't matter, does it ? :D) was really unexpected ... ouaw! thank you so much for spending some time here!

so bad there isn't any VST able to emule the DSI PolyEvolver ... :-D I am currently only using the TB303 as hardware stuff... what VST would you use for the strings/pads instead of it ? Got the Arturia bundle with the ARP2600, Prophet & Jupiter...

I tried the TyrellN6 but can't get it 'warm' enough... I am playing chords on all these (TyrellN6, Sylenth1, ARP2600, Prophet, Jupiter, ..) but can't get the massive sounds I hear in Kirk Degiorgio's releases (or on A.R.T. or Planet-E, as examples) ...

Wow. There is so much information in this last post that is going to help out in more ways than just answering the question in the original post. Knowing the variety of effects, their uses, how to use them, etc is all great advice. Thanks so much!
