Thanks for the feedback...
I just received the Kensington expert mouse today at work. I've hooked i p to the laptop as a test and it seems pretty good. Never used one before so its a bit of a change to get use to but I can instantly see that it will help address the issues of tired and cramped fingers.
The scroll wheel feels a little cheap and I am wondering just how long the small ball barings that support the ball will last but it will be a good test. Thinking it may even kick ass in games too.
Love being able to navigate around just with the movement of one finger and much easier than a track pad.
All in all i'm happy.

Congratulations!
Yes, the scroll ring has a cheap feel, but it's actually decent. It definitely stands out in contrast to the high quality of the rest of the trackball. The bearings for the ball are strong.
+1 for "MouseWorks" instead of "TrackballWorks" - more options & better configurability.
Have fun playing with the settings & tuning it to your liking.
I have my buttons set up like this:
Top Left: Drag
Top Right: Click
Bottom Left: Double-Click
Bottom Right: Right-Click
Chord Top: Spotlight
Chord Bottom: Swap Scrolling
Scrolling:
Speed: Very Slow
Direction: the settings on the right side of the ball icon
Display Horizontal Scrolling Indicator in Menu Bar: checked
Don't forget that you can customize all the settings for each application you use! The trackball can function differently for each app.

That's the one I have.
Cheers for the suggestion on the Mouseworks software. I did install the other software first and why do they even have that? Mouse works has all the extra options I wanted (per app settings etc)
I don't mind the scroll ring now, it is starting to loose the scraping feeling.
Decided to load up a FPS game on my other machine and test the mouse and get use to it. Bit of a change but after a few hours I am driving it perfectly tho the scroll ring can't be used as I keep bumping it and changing weapons. For editing stuff though it's fantastic.
A long duration test of 4 hours I had no cramps or sore fingers so it's a winner and seems very smooth all round. Great tool for anyone in the same boat.
