Sweet, nice bike. 9'rs don't really hold up too well to the stuff I do, but I've been keeping an eye on the trend.

yeah, I'm more about cross country. after taking two diggers on Sunday the wife reminded me that I'm not 17 anymore (but I still remember how to hurdle the bars!) tons of trails around Mt Tam are perfect for it. the stunt trails haven't taken hold down here, they're mostly up in lumberjack country, you guys are nuts.

Heading to Whistler in a couple weeks to get even more nuts, can't wait
Only two bikes for me though, the Enduro Elite and my Allez Sport Comp. I'm hopin to get enough cash together for a Demo7 next year though...

whoa, nice. those big squish bikes are insane, you can get in a lot of trouble really fast. MTBers love to tell me how cars make roads dangerous but ignore all the dings they get on dirt. why the knee and elbow pads?

Well, before we thread jack anymore.....
I've actually gotten more hurt on my road bike than my mtn bike, stupid cars always getting in the way. Search YouTube for "Duthie Hill" to get an idea of the place I normally ride on the mtn bike, definitely more my style.

roadie friends tell me they won't ride dirt from too many falls, MTBers love to go on and on about cagers. I'm a daily bike commuter in SF and have done well over 3k road miles this year. I get along alright but a few of my friends have been tagged, even have lost friends.

Yeah I ordered the sp1200 book a few hrs ago. I am crazy hyped to get my paws on this thing for so cheap and if I wasn't me I would hate me right now. I'm also thinking of getting the sd card reader/floppy emulator I saw a while back. Does anyone know if it works well?
