They should have those as artist communes, though not strictly. Something focused for visionaries along the lines of environmentalism, architecture, the arts, etc. At least that's what my simple idealistic mind says.

well that gets us to point 2, and here's where paying attention really comes in to play, they are selling these apartments and such at exorbitant prices knowing good and well that no one can afford them. i posted an article yeah, but the youtube vid really illustrates the extent of it. China is so obsessed with increasing their GDP and claiming "growth" and expansion that they don't give a shit that the average citizen makes 6, 7, 8, 9 thousand bucks a year and these condos are selling for anywhere from 70 - 350,000 bucks. and oh, btw you have to pay half loot down and only have 3 years to pay the remainder.

here in the states when you pull up to a stop light you sometimes have dudes bumming change, attempting to wash your windshield (for change), or selling anything from crack to roses to wind up bass drum beating bunny rabbits, but in those neighborhoods in China they're bum rushing your car to sling real estate

Oh wait this is about China's massive property bubble seems like madness but.... maybe not..isn't a large proportion of debt owed to China seems like they might have a plan jumping a level and laying out infrastructure to be filled unlike here in the UK where we conservatively drag our heels, shame its unattainable ,confounding. This is what happens when you let a country manufacture EVERYTHING. They don't know when to fucking stop.

But the scale and ridiculousness of this story made me feel a tad bit better about the US mentality.

Yeap mate thats the one couldnt remember name, oh really wasint that gr8 :/ looked amazing on the tv but then most things do until you visit, ill be honest im a little ignorant of things in asia (not europe) but asia and dont know a lot about the must sees tbh. Think im sure they are life size these terracotta models arent they? yet they looked small on the programme

Even worse : Every day the government release a single political prisoner, dressed in bright yellow, into the maze-like streets. They must try and survive being chased down and killed by the ghostly inhabitants. The only food is pills. One yellow dude being chased through a maze by ghosts.

Oh, I'm pretty certain that was on one of those islands to the east. But definitely brutal.

I guess it wasn't major news when this happened awhile ago but Pac-Man turned into an alcoholic after they moved to China. In some areas they still practice foot-binding and the Ms. was no exception. Seeing as how her gift was also in swift consumption of pills and ghost evasion, the foot-binding crippled her and eventually she became possessed, so Pac Man turned to the bottle. I Imagine if he's living in that new area he's probably roaming around yelling for the Ms. and provoking more ghosts ie "Come and get me bitches!"
