Quite a change in tone from previous statement!

Without wanting to spawn a whole discussion, and although I really hate using iLoks myself, I must say that seen from the software maker's point of view it makes a whole lot of sense. From their angle, although it may anger some, the company can stay in business and bring out new and exciting products to market.

Perhaps they should have made an effort to offer those iLoks at a discount to their long-term registered users? I don't mean to belittle anyone, but if price is THAT MUCH of a factor, they can also be found quite cheaply on eBay everyday of the week.

So, my iLok arrived today and I must say, it's fine. I thought it was like the Cubase dongle; i.e. you had to leave it in while using the product, which is a real pain for us laptop users. But iLok's different, you just insert it while loading the song, and then take it out a few seconds later and get to work.

And Antares have updated their website to let people know it's now required, so I like 'em again. :)
