Ok so.........

I have received my USB to Midi cable... I have connected the (USB) cable to my mac (master) then to the breakout cable on my firebox with the MIDI cables.

can you help with the preferences here? i.e. the Track, Sync & remote settings

Mac (master) shows:

Input USB2 0-MIDI (Port 1)
Output USB2 0-MIDI (Port 1)
Output USB2 0-MIDI (Port 2)

PC (Slave) shows:

Input Presonus Firebox MIDI in
Output Presonus Firebox Midi out


Cant work it out :-(

Anyone?

on the PC Slave machine turn on the sync option for

Input Presonus Firebox MIDI in


this should enable the EXT button on the main transport - switch this on

Now start the transport on the master - if the Midi is coming in you should get a flashing indicator light on the slave

starting play on master should start play on the slave
