Yeah, it's the octave-up sheen that's missing
You can try recording the Tension output as audio, then duplicating the track and pitching it up an octave (probably in Beats mode you'll have the most luck), and playing that at the same time through the same effects rack
You can also try with the grain delay set to +12, but you'll have to play around with the other settings to get it sounding right

IIRC from listening to it last time (can't right now) I was thinking it was the reverb that was resonating to accent that extra metallic shimmer. I think that's the same reason someone else there was an organ or something. You can usually hear it when you're switching frets; the guitar string "zip". A reverb with a lot of mids will really pull that out, but the mid decay won't be as long as the high end decay.

You can definitely get a similar effect multiple ways
To me the sound in the clip he linked sounds very similar to a Digitech whammy ringing out an octave above, or to an audio clip pitched up an octave

To do it with Live's effects, I'd probably having reverb on a send and pitch shifting the reverb up an octve with Frequency shifter or what have you.

I believe I can get a very similar sound with my Electro Harmonic POG effects pedal.
Mines the original but I think they are on version 2 now.
Anyway, if you want this sound easier duplicate the guitar track you are working on and pitch it an octave higher (maybe add a third track with 2 octaves too). Mix the three tracks to taste.

Thank you for the replies. You were correct, adding the extra octave was the missing component.
Instead of stopping there, though, I began experimenting with even more things, since. So ultimately I ended up with a guitar sound quite different from the original that I like even more.
