convert .aif to .wav

Reallly...MOST of the time....

change the extension from .aiff to .wav

works almost every time.
(they are practically the exact same file format, and in fact most of the time, they are.)

My solution is to drag the AIF into a track and then export everything (only this track) as a WAV file.
Then you have it for more editing and other usage.

"Flute Stab Streets.aif" has crackles and needs to be cleaned.
