Hahahhaha, whoever called it corny is exactly right on

It's a pretty forgettable track except for the violin, but I wouldn't call it the affront to dubstep that some people are making it out to be

The strange/funny/ironic thing is almost all the hype I've heard about dubstep being the super hot thing right now has pretty much been isolated to and come from this forum. Either it's a small niche of electronic music fans & producers that perceive it as something larger than it really has become to a wider audience, or I'm just out of touch.

In my exposure to lots of different music from friends...hearing plenty of current stuff on both independent internet radio & in my everyday travels in cities to some places that tend to play trendy music over the sound systems, going to clubs, etc, I'd say very little of what I hear currently is dubstep or influenced by dubstep.

I hear much more talk & hype about dubstep than the music itself! :)

Would hit. Volume off.
It would be one thing if the "backing music" was unique.

The people I know that are deeply in to Dubstep are teenagers or in their very early 20's. Mostly poor and "rocker" types, not the typical electronic music crowd.

sinesquaresaw wrote:Wow the dancing was unbearably corny.

But other than that, I don't see why you'd hate on this. She plays the violin like a boss. She smiles while she's dancing (awesome). She's at least trying to be innovative. AND she's hot.

I don't like this track personally, but I wouldn't hate on it.
Cause she's not a musician, her left hand is dead.

this has nothing to do with dubstep, but it's a violinist doing something a little more original with music.
