Was more just my opinion on the state of Ableton as I see it.. right now.

A dead forum is a pretty good indicator of the current state of a company's products.

btw ..Uploading to Soundcloud is about as useful as a brick

"It's going to space" and the bit about the internet on the plane pretty much nails the 'wasted on the crappiest generation' part.

It seems to apply to 90% of the expectations on forums in general.

Although this is a nice sentiment... I actually don't think this happens. Last year I spent a couple of months reviewing AND commenting (as best as I could) 3 or so songs a day on this board. One person who noticed what I was doing sent me a PM saying thanks for the effort. After that effort I then posted a track in the Link your music section which after a week had 8 views. Eventually in the last 4 months it has had 20 views but no comments at all. Soundclouds stats are pretty useless on my account, but none of the 9 plays it got in 2011 came from any regulars on this board. (assuming people keep niks the same).

So the OP is on point then regarding the activities on the Ableton forum. In terms of a community of users reaching out to other users, there is some good stuff going on in a technical way, but when it actually comes to music, the whole point of this software, it really is dead.
