don't just knock the $999 headphones. $999 seems like the right price, for professional mastering headphones... a real mastering room, is going to cost several thousand to build.. I know everybody is mastering on their kitchen table, and, "calling it a master," but.. give me a break.
Real... Professional mastering, takes a pro room. OR! its 2012.. technology changes. what if you can remove the room. always be in the sweet spot.
