Great idea!
Today I wish I'd be in Indiana...
Got to take my atlas and check out where it is
No seriously, is it the first time such a group is organized? That's quite amazing that it had to be Indiana... I would kinda have expected to find a greater concentration of Live users in major urban centers like NY, so more probabilities for such a group to develop there... Well, that's cool...
Have fun!

I hope this grows in something like a G8 summit.
Where people all come together on an island to discuss how to demoli.... ehm... construct great tracks.
I'm up for a meeting in the south of France too
Du pain, du vin et du boursin..... yummy
I suggest Gironde-sur-dropt. It's nice and quiet. And they have the best bakery i ever had the privilige to eat from.
Let's make it a barbecue

The problem is folks in NYC rest on the fact that they live in NYC, and expect that since there are 8 million more people, someone ELSE will organize something. But when everyone in NYC thinks that way, nothing ever happens.
In the midwest, we're used to having to do everything ourselves. So grassroots style stuff happens about as fast as you can think it up.
And its quite appropriate that we do the first one here , THIS year.
You see this is the first year of the bi-annual agreement between Summer NAMM and the city of Indianapolis. NAMM will be here every other summer beginning this year. So hoffman2k, the G8 summit a'la Ableton isn't that far off

Really, thats all just coincidence but it makes this town sound like less of a shithole, oh yea and we have Formula-1 ... nyah!

man that was fun. Thanks for coming out guys. we had about 14 people total and i'm sure that number will grow in future meetings (we still got room for more!). I know a few guys who really wanted to come couldn't make it but will be there next month.
thanks to Rahlo for bringing the 2100 Lumens

Projector!
Man that made the meeting fun and interactive!
I'll try to put a detailed documentation of the "Utility Trick" in the Tips & Tricks section. Anyone who signed in will get an email with notification and a link to the tip. I'll also get the transcript cleaned up from tonite and pdf it as well.
Thanks for jumping in, asking questions, and making corrections. It was a real fun night for me and i hope you all learned at least 1 new thing about Live that you took home with you.
See you all on Tuesday, May 3rd for Meeting #2 !
