Thanks for the compliments, It took a lot of trial and error to get it to this point.

If anyone notices any features that aren't visible because of conflicts in the color schemes, please let me know. I'm not sure that I tested the skin with every feature in Live.

Cheers.

The only thing I've noticed about this skin is that the selected midi notes are black against a dark grey background. Anyone know which entry in the skin editor changes that?

Yeah, it is nice - the automation does look quite cool. Does everybody do this in one particular program or is there more than one way to go at this?

For lack of my knowing the proper term, I will call the notes ("D#3" for example) that show up to the left of the keyboard layout the "note displays". The C1, C2, C3, C4, etc notes seem to always be displayed, we can call the "reference notes".

I tested the skin out and when selecting a midi note, the "note display" should be white. The midi notes (in the sequencer) are orange, or darker orange when they are selected. The "reference notes" are black on the dark grey background unless you select them, or hover the mouse over them, in which case they are also white. I believe the "reference notes" are what you were referring to.

Unfortunately I didn't find any way to change the reference notes in the skin editor. You can however try adjusting the "surface background" (as it is called in the Skin Editor) to try out some lighter shades. Personally, I find my liking of the dark grey outweighs my minimal need to see the reference notes.

No, I was referring to midi notes drawn in to a clip. However, I just noticed that it only happens when you zoom out too far, at a certain point the selected note turns black. It's not that much of a big deal though.
