Hmm I probably wasn't really as clear as I should've been in my initial post.

I already have a workhorse audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 which I fucking **LOVE**) which cost me around $240 (I got a decent deal).

I'm hoping to find an interface that's around $50-$75 that's super portable. I'm on PC as well so unfortunately, Apogee is out.

The Microbook looks mighty fine, but it's out of my price range.

The Audio 2 is a consideration but it lacks some of the inputs I was hoping for.

The Behringer might be a total piece of shit, but for $30, what do I have to lose?

The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is pretty sleek and is the awesome baby brother to my 18i6. But at $150 it's above what I really want to spend on this.

If it's any consolation I had the 18i6 before going to the 2i2. You're absolutely right that its sleek, and very portable. Same Pre's as well. You can usually find some factory refurbs for around $110-$115 on Ebay if that tips the scales. I've been uber impressed with it.

I seriously can't believe how transparent and awesome those pres are. For the price, they're crazy good.

OK this is a long shot, but IF you can make due with just ONE stereo input, AND your Lenovo has an expresscard or PCMCIA (cardbus) port, then these are very good. Probably one of the smallest interfaces available.
