i've heard the new version is lower latency and less cpu
as far as more than 1 stereo connection...
A stereo signal at 44khz requires 350 kBit/sec.
Ethernet is 100 megabit, Firewire is 400 megabit.
so i'd say with either network connection , yes you could send more than 1 stereo stream. Hundreds of streams, in theory, but that would most likely induce more latency.
I'm just looking to farm off the mastering processing (a mix of PSP VW, L2, Ozone 3) and a few reverbs. so Maximum stereo wormholes would be 4. and hell i could even manage that wirelessly via Airport.
