Yep, strange price for me too.
I have Suite 8 + m4l, and my upgrade to Suite 9 is 249€ reduced to 199€.
Common Ableton, there's a problem for a lot of us, right?

I own Live 8 normal plus Operator (Australia). Upgrade path is USD 179 digital or USD 232 to boxed Suite 8 with free upgrade to Live 9 Suite PLUS FREE MAX 4 LIVE!!! which is USD 187 by itself, and I wanted to get it. Is this for real? If so, this is fucking mental! How can I possibly say no that? Seriously!?!?

EDIT - Too good of an offer. Purchased the boxed upgrade

I feel like Abes haven't been completely clear on upgrade prices / prices in general sometimes. So I'd wait for the dust to settle in case anything gets changed / isn't clear. ...

This is it. If I have to pay more to upgrade from Suite 8 to Suite 9 than someone upgrading from Live 8... well that just doesn't work out. There must be some mistake there, or something Ableton will clarify later.

Yep, seems odd to me - I only upgraded to Suite 8 Boxed in July and I kind of presumed there would be a discount for people who had upgraded recently. Not the end of the world though, happy to part with my pennies for 3 years of their hard work tbh.

I'm sure the Abes will adjust their pricing shortly for those of us who already paid for Live 8 Suite and M4L

They are very responsive to such suggestions. Its just a minor glitch.

I'm in the USA, own Suite 8. My upgrade to Suite 9 is $299.

The Push plus Suite upgrade is $848

From what I've seen in another thread, it costs more to upgrade from 8 to 9 if you have M4L than if you don't!

People with Live 8 are saying their upgrade price is 149 Euros.

Someone who has Live 8 & M4L said his price was 179 Euros.

Just did it too - wanted to get suite 8 for awhile, and this seemed a great deal at the right time. But there's nothing about a free upgrade to 9 in my license details. Should there be?

I just upgraded from Live 8 Standard (I also own Sampler) to Live 8 Suite + free upgrade to Live 9 Suite for $179usd.

Well, it seems everything is correct. Upgrade now and you get Live 9 for free. Live 9 even don't have the stupid distinction between box and download edition anymore. So you really only have to upgrade to Live 8 Suite Download edition. So for me personally that the best update ever.

I bought Ableton Suite 8 (not the upgrade) today at Guitar Center. Asked them to match the $599 that everyone is starting to sell if for now, then pulled out the $100 of $599 coupon that expired today.

So $499 + tax out the door, and upon completing online registration, I received an e-mail that said I would get the Live 9 Suite free when it's released. But when looking at my offers on my account, it says my price is $299 USD. I'll trust the e-mail over their website. I think I read that there is an exclusive deal that will be offered when Live 9 is released.
