I guess the reason that you got such stupid replies is that the answer is clearly all over the web.

Ask a stupid question get a stupid answer...

my question is whether live still fully working (except saving and exporting) after 30 days.
I'm sorry, I see now that my answer was not clear enough. Too much waffle and complicated by the vagaries of personal opinion.

I can answer like a politician, if you're more comfortable with that kind of reply.

Let me emphasise the huge success of the 30 trial. Exports during the trial period are up 23% under the current administration, whilst the use of illegal copies continue to fall to the lowest levels in live's history. After the trial period is over, potential users can continue to enjoy almost complete access to the program, with only a couple of minor features understandably missing - unfortunately, I don't have those details to hand. But the point is, that with this trial, ableton continue to show real commitment to all new users, now and in the future.

Thank you, no more questions.

Anyway back to the original question.

After 30 days the trial expires.

But then what happens?

Can you still use Live in his fully feature but just without the possibility of saving ?

You can still use live, but in order to prevent you from recording your work into another daw, all virtual and physical audio outputs are disabled.

ffs - yes - you can still use it but you cannot save anything - this includes modifications to instruments, drum racks etc.
