i havent heard much about any Waves DSP outside of their Y56k Yamaha AW mixer card. $900 for that thing. yea it would be interesting to see if they made a DSP, but as it is now - Waves plugins are expensive, and relatively low cpu usage, so there's not much demand for DSP. Also consider most of the guys that could afford the DSP and a few bundles probably have Protools and are therefore using the TDM versions of most Waves plugs.
i just got rid of Waves.
i'm using Wave Arts, PSP, and Izotope stuff now. i feel like i have just as much versatility and it sounds just as good as Waves, with possibly a bit more character which is what i want. CPU usage is good too, i've got no complaints.. just happy to be done with the waves upgrade trap, i mean path
