Still use 9 for mixdown in protools, not because of the K's but because I can't afford the $1600US to transfer ownership and upgrade my waves 3.6 to a 4 or 5 version

Thats exactly one of the reasons the PT guy who mastered my new album is still using OS9.

I'm using OS9, because it's too damn expensive for me to upgrade to OSX (upgrading all my other software), the other reason is if I change over to OSX on my mac I'm pretty sure, my processor will just become an issue using live and other audio bits, to be honest i think I'm just going to buy a PC as I had it with the ongoing pain in ass processors and OS upgrades in macs, buy the time you get something running the upgrades are nearly always specd outy for bigger machines,
