Totally agree. Must wait for a while before doing anything. And do backups before doing anything.
But having two libraries is really annoying. Simply want to have everything in the same place. Hope they'll provide a simple way to merge them.

in the meantime...

i'm finding the browser search very handy. type in the search term then click the particular library icon it's in

i hope they add a tags function soon (ala kontakt)

and don't even think about shortcuts!

uhyeah. cannot understand why they removed bookmarks. now I have to type in names of folders in order to get straight to them.

indeed - extremely annoying - a really useful feature which is surely very easy to put back!

I got used to not having them in a way - it's less bothersome than I thought it would be because the live 9 browser groups plugs, effects etc. quite nicely.

Well, what I am doing is: going through all my old racks. If I find one I want to keep, I open it and just save it again. Then it goes straight into my User Library. It sort of forces me to clean up a lot of the contraptions and devices that are still sitting around in there.

Same challenge here. I am a bit of a newbie but when I look in Preferences and places in L9 I do not see "Live 8 Library" although I can find it using Explorer. Like the previous poster I do not want to screw up!
