Ganz Graf is very nice - kudos to the designer and to Synnack for the mod. It is definitely a step in the right direction for creating realtime visual output that responds to audio - beyond the relatively dull VJ clip playing stuff. It would be great to find a way to mix other inputs into something like ganz graf....

As far as I can tell, if it was easy to insert jit.qt.record to record ganz graf output, someone would have done it by now. I haven't figured it out yet, being a M4L noob. 8O

Vizzable devices do not seem to work alongside ganz graf because the vizzable units are used on midi tracks and ganz graf appears to be a unique object that works on audio tracks - usually the Master track.

I have tried some screen recorders (windoze) and they ALL seem to render low quality video even with a good gpu with sufficient RAM.

There is a vizzable compatible ganz graf version and it works perfectly. Just don't use 'auto' routing but choose 'video 1' for example. To record the outuput with a good quality, I suggest using Syphon.

Do you have a link to that vizzable compatible ganz graf version?

Thx

hard to find, but there is a link on this page:

Let us know how you get on with it. I can't get results that look as good as the standalone GG unit, could be my stupidity, of course...

I get nothing. No visuals whatsoever with VIZZable.IN.ganzgrafb2. VIZZable.IN.scope works fine.

I assume you put a Viewer on the track? Try messing with the modifiers - where it says PASS.

I have a viewer on a midi track.

Modifying the modifiers doesnt work.

I managed to get it working with both devices (GG and viewr) on the same track. Looks not so good though, I guess it needs some time to tweak it. Maybe if included as part of a mixer setup?

I route audio to it from an audio track with a sidechain from a compressor.

It looks different but pretty good when I set the resolution a bit higher in viewr.

I will check that out - yes I had both on a midi track. Am currently getting help from a friend on a record option for the original device - more soon on that.

I lost quality after a while. First resolution and then color.

Interested in record option for original.
