Live 9.0.2 doesnt start

Now that you've set the preferences, install again. The same thing happened to me last night and when I checked the program file this morning it was 9.0.2 again. It must initiate the update pretty quickly upon launch.

Sounds to me like I'd better make sure my Internet is off before starting up Live. And then making sure I have auto update off (which it probably is off, me being the control freak that I am

) ....and then wait for .3......

Yes... seems to be 9.02 - I figured this out also by replacing the 9.02 version with the 9.01 version every time it would not launch .

Thankfully this is working as I am in between machines right now and don't want to use my authorizations on a machine I will only have for a week or so.

Not only Live 9.0.2. I installed Live 9.0.1 trial after 9.0.2 never opened, and then Live 9.0.1 failed to open after an initially successful first session. Note that I had disabled auto update, but I don't remember if I had applied the setting or not.

Hope this is fixed by tomorrow. I want to begin learning live before Push arrives at my doorstep.

Everyone who's affected by the problem of the 9.0.2 Trial version freezing on launch, please re-download and re-install 9.0.1. The links are available here:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=191500

We have disabled auto-updates for Trial versions for now, so you can keep on using 9.0.1 until the problem is fixed.

Has anynone tried to deactivate IP connection from its computer, delete the preferences.cfg file and reload Live ?

i too now have this problem - ridiculous, still on the trial, 2days work gone! Any solution, please?
