i havent checked out the Side chaining in Neodynium, because i never use Sidechain compression. its just something i never got into the habit of doing, as i adjust the dynamics of my notation to fit my mixes. But it does do side chaining, and it is a KICK ASS compressor unlike anything on the market.

it compresses levels, no bands. and after using it for 2 or 3 days, it will really start to blow your mind.

Actually, as far as I've been able to find out, the dedicated sidechain feature in Neodynium is not available in the VST version. This means that sidechaining is only possible on mono tracks (because you use the stereo version as 1 channel for the key and one channel for the audio). This is similar to what the Waves C1 for instance do. So you cannot do true stereo sidechaining.

I don't wish to bash Neodynium! It's an interesting compressor indeed, and certainly has its uses. But on the VST platform, it's not quite fair to call it a truly capable sidechain compressor.
