nah, you guys got me wrong. i never meant for the op to spam soundclouds....i'm just saying, when i started following soundclouds checking other peoples stuff out, people checked my stuff out, followed and sometimes liked my stuff. that is kind of the point of soundcloud right??

^ yeah... when i posted tracks people followed me... which in turn made me want to check out their tracks... pretty sure that's the point.

@ Mirthan... i don't think eddiex is telling you to go crazy with self promotion on soundcloud... just keep it legit. if you find a soundcloud account... hear something you like... follow them... then, if they feel the same about your tracks after wondering 'who the fuck is this guy following me' they click to see what your music is all about... with a little luck they like it and follow you... then their followers might get curious too.

definitely don't go off on some mass soundcloud spam spree... otherwise you'll get the response Forge is talkin about... no response... or worse

yeah man, i hate spam....i would never advocate for someone to spam everyone's soundcloud. the word "random" may have been confusing. i just meant start checking out different people's soundcloud, like on the forum here, most likely they will give you a listen back.

Maybe they don't like your style and are saving you from a flood of awful remarks

I tend to leave my reply, if I like it, on the souncloud page rather on the forum.
