@Steve Ballmer...I owe you an apology! I didn't recognise Karl Hyde straight away and because you have been a party to so much of the spam and trolling here (regardless of who is to blame) I reacted as soon as I saw the pic without any text explaining said pic. So, being the fair minded guy that I am, I decided to check him out and low and behold, you were right: he may well be a suitable candidate for the show I had in mind. Here is a recent article about his current venture...and because I live 3000 kilometres from Sydney where this event ocurred I had no idea it had happened. News often doesn't get from one side of Australia to the other if it is a 'local' event.

What city are you thinking of running this in earthloop? I'm based in Melbourne and I know of several musicians/producers who are also amazing graphic/visual artists. Genres can vary from electronic to metal and visual art styles vary just as diversely. Are you thinking of sticking to a certain theme/genre for the music and visuals? Are you thinking of linking in live performance (either music or visuals) with the event, or would it be more of an art exhibition with some of the related artists audio playing in the area? I know of a couple of visual artists that perform live if you're thinking of going down that track.
Great thinking earthloop, hope to see it all pan out successfully and hopefully pave the way for more events of this nature!

I am in W.A. and Fremantle is the site because it has great heritage arts venues owned and run by the city which can cater for big shows. However, if the show does come together there is a possibility of 'touring' it like those big classical art shows which get taken around the world to various famous galleries. This would be a local (Australian) version of that. Think of it an smaller multimedia version of the big day out, but for arts venues. Well, that is the concept anyway. I have to pull off the initial event here first before it goes that far. That is looking very hard right now, but eminently do-able.

Apology accepted. As a token of good faith, I've replaced an extra large Jeff Goldblum with a slightly smaller Bill Pullman.
