you need to put it in it's own MIDI track
then send MIDI to your instrument

this is by far one of my favorite m4l free sequencers, and you can map the R for Randomize button
for Pitch, Velocity, Duration, and a midi jitter sort of effect. also has CC action

indeed. thanks.
i like the pocketseq because of its "analog" knobs for pitch which you can easily map to a controller,
whereas with most m4l seq's, pitch/vel/dur/step parameters are somewhat limited by "step-in via keys and graph approach via mouse", can't be mapped.
