It's a joke! If it ain't broke don't fix it. Seems to me live 9 is made for these new OS etc.
hence why I haven't made the leap to upgrade yet…I'm sticking with SL and live 8.4 currently working sweet.
Really want Glue though haha!!
I'm gonna write a letter to both ableton and apple saying: "stop upgrading everything for at least 5-10 years, please, thanks." Hopefully that'll solve it all.

As Gandalf would say…do not tempt me!! Haha. You using 32-bit?? That's what I'd be upgrading to.TomViolenz wrote:Captain Johnson wrote:It's a joke! If it ain't broke don't fix it. Seems to me live 9 is made for these new OS etc.

I use 64 bit, and I don't think I have more problems than other users on Mac with more recent operating systems. I think it was actually the other way around. Live at first not being ready for Mavericks.Captain Johnson wrote:As Gandalf would say…do not tempt me!! Haha. You using 32-bit?? That said, I do have more crashes than with Live 8.4.
Always of the "A serious program error has occured...." variety. I load A LOT of .wav files in my set though (in the 10 000s!) and it is definately tied to that. But this has nothing to do with running Snow Leopard I think.

^ if you're loading that many .wav files... i'd wager that error has more to do with RAM than anything.
