touchAble Mini: Ableton Live control on iPhone & iPod touch

Well, after having my computer shut down I opened the host, then my app. I got lucky. Then I opened my Live. And it began working. Then I tried it tethered and that too began working. So I think I'm all good, it may just require full restarts and a touch of voodoo.

Works great using Win 8.1, Live 9.1.4. Latest version of Touchable mini installed as app on both iphone 5s with latest ios and iphone 4 with near-latest ios.

Did home network and even ad hoc via my hp envy laptop with great success.

After all that, I attempted to use both phones at once. That apparently does not work. I assume it only allows for one at a time, correct? It was so fun that I basically wanted two!

I've been eyeing the iPad for quite some time how. I think when the next one comes out, I'm picking it up. And touchable 2 will be the first thing I download. I'm very happy so far.

Two favorite things are the browser, and drawing notes into the clips. My fantasy lately has been finding a super fast way to load devices into channels. This is faster than Push. I hope someone in the future makes something even faster haha. Just like a select channel, and double tap a preset device. Where all devices are in clear view and organized nicely.

ive been using touchable for a few years now on ipad - yes its true every now and then i have to restart both devices to get a good connnection, but once the connection is there it's rock solid. probably near 100 shows with no serious crashes! thanks guys and girls!

I have a stupid Touchable question. I can't use the wifi card in my computer, because it causes a conflict with my audio interface. The computer IS hard wired to the Internet though, and I do *have* a wifi network at my house. Can I use Touchable with this set up? I had been planning on buying an APC40 mkII, but the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of using Touchable instead, just want to make sure it will play nice.

Hey Matt,

touchAble will run perfectly in this setup - as long as the hard wire is in any way connected to the wifi network you will be using - but as both are connected to the internet, this is probably the case!
