What about Push pads with blacked out tops like MPC Renaissance/Studio? :) That would be kind of cool 8)

DON'T do that. I used a red sharpie to color the Stop pads on my APC40 to make it easier for me when playing live. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but within a few shows it had gotten on my fingers and all the other pads and the white lettering turning them a shade of pink.

Ooops.

I use the dymo letratag with transparent tape to label my launchpad.

Definitely more responsive than the original, though, which is why I returned it in the first place.
responsiveness : keep the user button pressed and set the pad threshold lower :wink: around -15

Well, my original was returned because a few buttons had zero response ;)
