M4l is no excuse for making not making what's sket native better.

Can we still not select and change multiple choke groups at once?

Yeah, that's really needed, cause you can't timestretch anywhere else in Live... muchos importantos.

Plus MaxForLive now has a timestretch sampler. So Ableton is sorta off the hook now.

There are many tricks with timestretching within a sampler, that are much more cumbersome to do with Live clips, but hey what do you know?

how many exactly? I know of one, and it sounds like doodoo. Because it's not really timestretching. tell us what you know. :D

Ableton is supposed to be all sbout playing live, so Live 10 will likely feature
*multitouch and better tablet integration
*A robotic musical companion that reacts to incoming audio (ex. you play guitar and live plays drums with you)
*dj-like features
* assisted sample search

#possible partnership with rme for an ableton soundcard.

€possible partnership with rme, akai, (other) for a standalone device.

&push 2.0 or push companion (pull)

9.2 Tuner is barely useful, gives no output at all for most of sounds.
When it comes to simple and clean sounds, I don't need automatic tuner anyway.

Still, working tuner would be great addition to this sample-focused DAW :P

Well, 9.2.1 has now been rolled out for the Beta with some bugfixes.

Live 9 is being finetuned a bit more, at the very least.

multi/layered clip editing * 1000 , all other priorities rescinded (for me) :)

Yeah the tuner is kind of a let down for me as well. It does work good for piano, guitar etc.. but for sounds with fast transients like a kick drum it doesnt work too well, but that is probably the nature of all tuners anyway. M4L still crashes my machine constantly in 9.2 with max7 especially with convo reverb. I really hope Ableton makes convo reverb a stock device as well as granulator 2.

"9.2 What would even be next?"

9.2.1 would be next I'm guessing

9.2.1b1 Release Notes
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed a crash which might take place in Live 9.2 when scanning or instantiating a number of 32-bit plugins.
  • Auto-scrolling in session view could get stuck after releasing the mouse, when dragging a device across the splitter between browser and session view.
  • Fix a rare crash which could occur when closing plugin windows on Mac.
  • Live could crash when double clicking on a Rack Chain Macro in the Mapping Browser, while in Macro Map mode.

I just wanted a clip coloring set that does not give me eye cancer like it currently is. Look at FL Studio and Bitwig! Those thing are beautiful and no matter what color you choose for your clip/track it still looked nice.

In Live you have to be very artistic and must know color theory to organize thing. It derails you from the actual making music workflow Live is talking about. And please make a pop-up able version of Operator, Analog, Tension etc.

+1000!!! Brilliant.

I might actually use Operator, Analog, Sampler, etc. a lot more if they weren't so tiny and fiddly. I think Ableton might want to take a look at something like Elektron's OverBridge interface. Or maybe even Diva, with it's ability to change sizes. It would really help us over-35 IT workers with tired eyes! :-)
