I know. I just meant that in this case, provided what you are suggesting is true, this is indeed badly managed. Info is supposed to be congruent with what's shipping.

I'm not implying anything general about Ableton management at all.

Still not over impressed I'll have to go trawling over my old presets from the last few years (that came with live)and copy them in! Max for live seems like it's bolted on, I just want to use it not manage it.
