Although, we don't actually need a key command to select the loop brace, if we can instead have key commands to shorten and move the loop brace without it being selected. Selecting the loop brace is only a means to an end; any other way to reach that end would just as satisfactory.

I'd still like to see this. The behaviour when you select the loop brace and use the curser to move it; and if you move the starts, ends etc is different. The first way is somehow more intuitive esp. if you launch with quantisation 1/4 or something other than a bar.
