Okay, in your export audio/video section under the first dropdown "Rendered Track" you got "Master" selected?

Just checked, yes i have master.

Oh man, I have no idea then. Ableton should render everything that's coming out of your master channel! I record my Prophet 6 all the time with no issues!
Actually, when you're in Session View - see the audio routing section where you can select where to send that individual track - make sure your track's Audio To is set to Master and not Ext Out.
In the example, I can hear the synth playing but because it's not routed to the master it won't be rendered (you can see the meter for the synth is lit up but there's nothing on the master even though I can hear it in my headphones).
