Can you increase the GUI scale within Live then in that case (in your Prefs)?

But you can counter that in Live with zoom, right?
I read trough the thread. I apologize I made a suggestion. If you don't want any suggestions leading forward, then why not say that from the get go.
Well, what do I know? I never helped anyone fixing problems I knew nothing about. No, never ever did that happen.

Stromkraft - Thank you for your post. I really appreciate your time and willingness to help. Your suggestion however does not help, still same issue.
As far as resizing something in Live settings/config - I do not know how to do it. If one has any steps or info I'd appreciate sharing it.
When I change/downgrade resolution by half there is no more problem with sizing, knobs, sliders etc, but why would I spend over $1k on two monitors to use 50% of their resolution when using Live ? I understand there might be Windows problem but Ableton should work out some solution with Microsoft because this issue is killing their god product.

In Lives Preferences you can change the GUI scale which compensates for tiny font on large res monitors.
Off the top of my head I'm not sure what it's called but you will easily find the setting in the Preferences, Look & Feel from memory.

Horrayyyyy! This setting works.
jestermgee - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POINTING THIS OUT !
Yes it's in the settings --> Look &Feel -> Zoom scale
I set it up to 125% and this fixed the mouse issue.
Ableton - thank you for fixing this. Looks like finally I can utilize fully my 4K screens! Feels really great and the way this feature wors is so cool! I love it! I wish there is some keyboard shortcut to zoom in/out (or perhaps there but I don't know how to use it).

We all wish that. You will discover that third-party plug-ins (if you use that) aren't affected by
Live zoom, but do read the manual for those as some of them might have high-resolution modes or "big" view modes.
BTW, the GUI zoom of
Live has been there for years. Let us know how you think fonts and sharpness work out for you. People seem to have different opinions on those matters.
